Meet Our Board
Tensley Garris
Ms. Garris is the past president of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a business association providing educational, networking, and advocacy services. A career professional organization executive, she retired from the Northbrook Chamber in 2022. She has been a member of the board and its risk management committee since 2019. Ms. Garris has been active in Northbrook’s Economic Development Committee, its Industrial and Commercial Development Commission, Chicago’s North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau, the North Suburban YMCA, Northbrook Days, and the Village’s merchants association. A graduate of East Carolina University, she and her husband, Harley Korman, are Northbrook residents.
